Patrick Butler Named President of Proxios: Proxios Poised for Growth and Expansion

RICHMOND, Va. – August 8, 2019 – Proxios is pleased to announce that Patrick Butler has transitioned into the role of President, a position previously held by his father Frank Butler.

Frank started Proxios, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, in 1999. Originally known as Super-Server, the Proxios precursor provided Private Cloud and Infrastructure Services to SMBs throughout Virginia. Over the last 20 years, Proxios has grown from a small startup to a leading Technology and Business Solutions Provider serving clients throughout the United States. Frank looks forward to continuing his involvement as Chairman of the Board.

Patrick has been active at Proxios for over 13 years and is excited to take on his new role and continuing Proxios’ growth going forward. Patrick earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from William & Mary, and his Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business. Before joining Proxios, Patrick worked at C&F Mortgage Corporation.

“During Patrick’s time at Proxios, he has served as the Operations Manager, Vice President of Operations, and most recently as Senior Vice President of Business Development. Having been involved in every aspect of the company from Service Desk, Engineering, Financial Management, Service Delivery, Marketing, Business Development to Strategic Planning, Proxios believes that Patrick’s broad experience will enable him to lead the organization on toward even greater success,” commented Nicole Cleavenger, Proxios’ Controller of 16 years.

Dave Foreman, Proxios’ Sr. Operations Director said, “Patrick’s experience at Proxios gives him a unique perspective on the needs of our customers. He has been instrumental in creating and enhancing our process management in IT, Finance, Sales and other areas. In my nearly three years at Proxios I have found him to be a strong, decisive leader with good instincts and a practical approach to problem-solving. The future looks bright under his leadership.”
